Modeena Brown is native to the Waitakere Ranges in Auckland, New Zealand. She has spent the last several years living and working overseas in the United States and the United Kingdom. She now resides in North London.

Choosing to work across mediums, Modeena is inherently influenced by natural and constructed forms.Through primarily working in Oil Paint, Ink and Sculpture she focuses on contorting and stacking objects ; falling into abstract expressionism.
